Here is some homework…

Whaaat??? No one told me there would be homework.

If you are very down and don’t feel like getting out of bed: Sit up on the side of the bed with your feet over the side. Sit there for a few minutes. Now get up and go take a look out of the window. Now you can go back to bed. DONE!!!

Make Bread….

If you are feeling like doing something, but don’t know what, try this. It is not too hard. It’s easy. Most of it is waiting around for the bread to rise. Get some REAL butter and you will love the taste and get a feeling of accomplishment. Win Win!!!

Casserole Bread

Serving Size:
2 1 quart loaves or 1 2 quart loaf
Time:
a couple of hours
Difficulty:
Easy

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup sugar 2 packages dry yeast
  • 1 t. salt 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup oleo 4 1/2 cups flour

Directions

  1. Scald milk. Stir in sugar, salt and oleo.
  2. Cool to lukewarm.
  3. Measure water into bowl, sprinkle in yeast and dissolve. Stir it gently.
  4. Stir in milk mixture, egg and 3 cups flour- beat until smooth.
  5. Stir in 1 1/2 cups flour to make a stiff batter.
  6. Cover and let rise 1 hour in warm place.
  7. Stir down.
  8. Put into 2 greased 1 quart casserole dishes.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
  10. Remove from oven and rub butter on top of bread.
