“Why me!”

Life is not fair

Here is a good thing for you to know. Life is not fair. You can just give up on the idea that it is. It is not and never will be fair.

When people lament and cry “Why Me” my answer is Why not you! It had to be someone so why not you. We all have to have that drama in our lives. I’m not sure why, we just do.

No one gets out of here alive, takes anything with them or never has drama in their lives. All those clech’es are all true. Sorry if I burst your bubble.

We all have problems, real or imagined. It’s how you react that is the key.

We all need to realize that “everything” could be worse. That helps you realize you are not so bad. If you sit and think about something that has happened you will find something about it that could be worse. Think long and hard, even. Tear it apart and put it back together. You will find worse.

Do not watch the news! It brings you down.

If you are reading a book and you feel it bringing you down stop reading! It’s not worth it. Same with watching a TV show. No one said you have to sit here and read/watch it. You are in charge. You!

Find a mantra for yourself. Mine was “I make it a habit to be happy”. When I can feel things getting to me I say that over and over to myself. Now it’s more like “I am healthy, wealthy and wise”. Any upward saying will do. Even “I can do this!”.

If your friends bring you down see them less and find some that make you laugh or even smile. Laughter brings your serotonin levels up in your brain.

If we work at it, we can change some of the thoughts in our heads. Try it. It might work for you!

Remember to live the life YOU were given FOR you, not what people think your life should be like. They are only visiting your story. You have to do what is best for you.

You could start a Journal if that helps you. They are not so good for me. I start going very dark and scribble and scream. That does not help me. I think Pinterest is my journal. I have to see things that are upbeat and I can’t scribble.

Life is hard enough without letting bad thoughts stay in your head. Especially if you have a chemical Imbalance.

Anything in your life that makes you want to smile is worth going after. Give it a try.

You are worth the work, even when you don’t think you are.

Smile as much as you can!!!
