Could you be “normal in Society”?
Hang onto your seats, Kids! There is no such thing as “normal in Society”. There is really no such thing as “normal”. There can be no such thing as normal in a mass situation as there are too many individual “normals” to make up a vast majority. There can be normal as in we all do curtain things, like “it is normal to go to school”.
I have a chemical Imbalance which is “normal” for me. It causes me depression and anxiety, which is common in Society.
I can live with my depression and anxiety and appear “normal in Society”. Am I “normal”? Oh heck no! I am average.
I am an average American Person. I happen to be female, single, a bit overweight and poor. I worked my whole life. Even my depression is common. See, average. I could go on, but, you get the idea.
I also have depression and anxiety. In some circles I am “normal in Society” even with that.
I tell you all of this so that you can see that you belong, also. With depression and anxiety, we are even considered common!

I will bet that you think you’re the only one and it makes you sad and lonely. Nope! You are common in our society. Sort of gives you pause, doesn’t it?
There is nothing new under the sun. There are many people with your same traits. The degree of depression does make us different, just like our physical features.
Did you know that a lot of depressions only last 2 years? Some not even that long. Yes, it can feel like depression lasts forever.
Can you hang in there for 2 years? You could have some great days, weeks or even months in that time period.
I have had good times and bad. A few times, (maybe 6 to 8 in my lifetime), I have had glimpses of “normal”. The first couple of times I thought I was getting manic! Scared me!! They only lasted a few minutes. I finally realized that I was getting a little peek of “normal”.
Let me tell you that I now know what “high” feels like. For a whole minute or two I was ecstatic! When I realized that this is what “normal” felt like, I was totally astounded.
For those of you that know that feeling, do everything you can to get it back!
If you are in a huge depression due to a trama, you CAN get better.
Find help.
A friend, a therapist, a stranger even. Talk!! Get out of your dark hole. Tell yourself over and over that you CHOOSE to be happy. I make it a HABIT to be happy.
Don’t sit in the dark. Don’t listen to the news. It is very depressing. Alcohol is a depressant. Get outside! It’s not worth your life to sit in the dark and think that you are better off dead. You are not!!! You CAN get better.
If you have a chemical Imbalance due to your genetics you can get through it. Tell it to suck eggs! You can get medication. It’s not easy to find the one that works for you, but it’s worth it.

Get help.
Medication
Friends, even if they have 4 legs.
Get out of your small world.
exercise
get a hobby
get curious about life!
Be strong-you can do it, I’m proof.
DO IT NOW!!!
I believe in you- you are worth my concern for you.
You can be “normal in Society” or at least better with your world. NEVER GIVE UP!!!
