What would you do for a Klondike Bar

What would you do?

Change your thoughts and you change your world…Norman Vincent Peale

Do you ever wonder what you would be doing if you weren’t depressed?

Would your life be very different than it is now? Would you be working at a job you love or just a job? Would you be driving a fancy car or truck or go out a lot with friends?

When we are depressed we believe that everyone else is having a gay old time. If you really think about other people, they are having the same sort of life we are. Just different problems.

Every person on this planet has a problem. Sometimes I really do believe in Hell on earth. We all have a story to live out, things we have to do.

If someone tells you that their life is fantastic, never better and they are better off than anyone they know, keep watching. When the change happens they are going to fall apart and not understand it all. They will have more trouble coping with what is happening than anyone with depression does.

We have already figured out that life is not fair or easy to get thru. The one positive thing about life is that it will change. Good to bad or bad to good or just mediocre, it will change.

I know people that have struggled with that change more than I do. I even feel bad for them, because, I can see it coming to their life and they think why should a great person like me be having all this bad luck all of a sudden. Because, everyone on earth is here to live a story, learn a lesson or whatever you would like to call it.

People with depression already know it and can cope. Yay us!

I have gotten through days that at the time I thought that I never could. I’m still alive to talk about it. Maybe that is why the friends that I have can all make me laugh.
