The Brain can Heal
One thing to always remember is that your brain can Heal as you start treating your depression.
Some types of depression are harder to heal than others, but all types are treatable. More people than you can imagine have had or do have depression. You are not the only one!

Some people are pre-disposed to
depression
Some people are predisposed to depression, like me. Family history and build life dramas on that add some stress, it goes on and on.
I was born with it and a whole lot of people are. The key to depression is learning to cope with it. If you have it a few weeks or months or years, cope with it. It does not have to run your life.
A major factor is getting help
as soon as you can.

The Brain can Heal with depression treatment.
Some people only have a depressive episode a few weeks and having medication for those few weeks is very helpful.
A few weeks and done. They may have another episode sometime or never again.
Some people have depression for a few months to a few years. The best thing here is to get help. Depression can cause other problems like forgetfulness or memory loss. It can be treated and healed!
Some people, like me, are carrying around all their life. It is not worth dying over. It can be treated!
If you get too overwhelmed about your mood call 988. They will talk to you and try to help. Don’t die for something you can treat. I do know that you can feel like dying, but this is not a good reason. You can treat it!
The best thing you can do:

The best thing you can do about your depression and that I hate to do, is exercise. It ups your brain chemicals and helps you in all kinds of ways. I know all that, still hate it. Another thing to do is NOT get hooked on alcohol or drugs. That will just make treating your depression harder.
From my research, (I do look things up once in awhile.), I am telling you the right things to do. Yay, me!!!
My biggest reason for this blog is to help even one person to live the life they were given and chosen for.
Sometime, Google depression and you could be surprised by what you find. There is a test to try so you will really know if you have depression or a physical ailment like thyroid disease or another disease.
If you just had a baby and aren’t really interested in it or feel very overwhelmed, you could have postpartum depression. Chemicals just got a little off in your brain and with help you can love your baby like crazy.
