The best thing you can do for yourself is keep things easy.
With depression small things can become overwhelming. Most of us have to manage in the real world. Pick ONE thing at a time and get that done, then go on to the next one thing.

Like the first thing to do is get up and make your bed. Now go brush your teeth and get dressed. Then do the next one thing.
If you think too far ahead you get overwhelmed. Then things get to be too much.

Keep things easy. You really can still function in the real world with depression. Are you going to be giddy and excited? Probably not. Can you get the day done? Yes. Plus remember, quiet is when you think too much. Keep it easy!!
