It’s Hard

Pets are good for depression.

Face facts, it’s hard to live with depression. It can be done. I have done it all my life and people are shocked when I say that I live with depression. I like that a lot!

You do have to fight against it. Try staying out of your bedroom. Look outside at the blue sky and the clouds. Go for a little fresh air, if you can.

I’m retired “ha”, now, but I never missed a days work for depression. It takes drive and determination to do it. It is one way to fight depression.

If you are not able to go to work, it is one time that you should keep depression to yourself. People still do not understand the trauma that depression is.

Believe in yourself.

This is the life that you were given. You need to deal with it and keep moving on. Even if you don’t want too!

Think of your depression as an obstacle that you need to go around. Out think it. Work out a way to get around it and move on. Try a healthy diet. Take some brain supplements that increase serotonin and dopamine. Google it…a good reason to look at your phone!!!

Some things will work well for you and some things will not. Don’t give up!! I am old now and looking back I am proud of making it thru. Your depression could be just a temporary thing and will go away. When I have trouble now I know how to handle it and work my way out of it or at least still function with it.

One thing that has helped me a lot is having animals. If you are responsible for something else you have to do a little bit to keep them going. I have 2 Jack Russell dogs and a cat. They need food and water and to go in and out of the house. The cat listens better than my dogs!!

Dogs are good for depressed persons, they give a lot of hugs.

Let me know what helps you the best!!! Read another post or check out the Market Pages in the menu.
