Do you ever just want to get away, mostly from yourself? Depression can make you think that way.
It can be a good idea. You just need to remember that your head goes along, too. Sometimes if you have forgotten about that getting back home can really be a bummer.
Sometimes I still think I just want to run away from home.

I have travelled all over the United States a few times with the only state I’ve missed being Hawaii. No matter how many times I’ve gone I still think of more I want to see. And, yes, I have also had times that I could not think of anywhere I wanted to see. Sometimes future things are hard to think about.
Depression is an odd problem to have because you can be all gung-ho one minute and can’t think of a thing the next.
Keep a note pad handy
It’s a good idea to keep a notebook or calendar handy so when you have some ideas you can jot them down. One day you will come across the note again and decide that it’s the right time now! And off you go!
Jot down anything you think of that way (I use a calendar) and you will be surprised at how many things or food ideas that you can eventually get done.

Don’t be afraid to write down vague things like, I want to see the Pacific Ocean. One day I know that you will see it!
Depression makes things hard, but not impossible.
Go for it!!!
Some things just take time!!!
