Live it up

Live it up. Your own way.

I want you to live your most comfortable life. That is live it up with no exclamation point. If you feel that your best life is staying in your room in the dark, then don’t change a thing. You are doing that well right now.

But, if you are starting to get tired of your own stink then it is time to move on. If that is just getting out of bed and showering and brushing your teeth, then Yay, you!

In order to move forward you need to get over your brain chemicals and start your life again. I know I keep saying this, but to start again you need to do the beginning. No one can come in your door and do it for you, unless it’s the cleaning lady, and know that I’m jealous. I could use a cleaning person. ( Don’t want to offend and only say lady!)

If you are saying, but how, read more of my blogs. It starts with things like getting a hobby that you like. Not one that someone else likes and thinks you will like it too. You just might like chopping wood as a hobby. That’s fine. It gets you up and out of the house.

Things to do.
Hobbies can be anything you like doing.

I tend to have too many hobbies that I like. Think of things you used to like doing or would like to learn to get good at. I like to read and crochet and do cross stitch and photography and play with my dogs and many more things.. that way if I don’t feel like doing one I can do something different. But, that is just me and not you.

Just so you know, I did not learn all these things at once. It took me years. I guess I am glad that I was always interested in new things.

Animals have always been my favorite things. I went from having a Chihuahua to two St. Bernards. I have almost always had a dog in my life. Cats, hamsters, fish, foxes, raccoons, the list goes on. Yes, some days are harder than others to take care of my animals, but I have done it.

That is part of getting around my personal brain chemicals and living my best life. The dream I always had was to work in a zoo or in The Wilds, which is an open air zoo and helping the species park in Ohio. The timing never seemed to work for those things, but I did work as a Veterinary Tech for 15 years. If what you would like to do and for some reason cannot, there is usually another way to do something similar. I loved being a vet tech.

Go after your ideas. They don’t have to be just dreams or what you think you should do or what someone else says. You be you!
