There is no shame in having depression.
Depression is a disease, therefore you did not pick it.
I have heart disease. Am I ashamed of it? No. I had nothing to say in the matter. Why would I be ashamed? Anyone can get it.
If I decided to do drugs or gamble, I might be ashamed of that.

I have asthma that I almost died of when I was young. I have 16 tons of allergies and I’m not ashamed of that either. Mad about it? Yes. I get very tired of having weird reactions to things most people don’t even notice.
If you hate the thoughts in your head, you need to get someone to help you with it. PERIOD.
When you think that about 1/3 of people in the whole world have depression at sometimes or always in their lives, why would you be ashamed of it?
Doing nothing about it could be shameful. You just might be able to help someone else get through theirs. That would not be shameful.

Telling a good friend can sometimes help you just by knowing that someone else in this world even knows. It sounds too easy but it’s true.
A real friend can sometimes know that you are having trouble just by hearing your voice. Doctors have heard it all, many times before.
If you can, SPEAK UP. If you can’t speak up right then, write a note. A piece of paper that just has, depressed, on it will get someone’s attention.
Do it now!!!
Check out my Market Pages on the menu and if you get anything thru there I just might be compensated.
