Steven Hawkings said that black holes aren’t totally black. Neither is your life.
I have never tried suicide. I have thought about it a lot. One time I even took 16 aspirin and wanted to take more. Then I thought if I take more I will probably throw up. I hate to throw up! So, I stopped and went along like nothing happened. That was a long time ago.
Black holes are not totally black. They have a life inside that shows light. Things are in there.
Your mind is not totally black. The things in there that reflect light are things you have done. Times that were fun and you felt good.

Sit down by yourself with a pen and paper and write down a few things that you have done in the past that were fun.
Did you ever cook a meal that someone thought was amazing?
Did you take some time to talk to some kids like they were grown people?
Did you accomplish anything at work that someone said Great Job?
Think hard and write them down. Are you surprised?
Now tape it to your wall and read it after.
Suicide it NOT the answer you are looking for.
People care about you and want to keep you around.
Your life has this dark area that makes you forget about the good parts.

We learn to live around it just like people with handicaps do. Their handicap is normal to them.
Depression can be worked around, too. It comes down to working around it and realizing that the black hole is not solid black.
