Spring Means New Life

Hello

I understand totally that sometimes you just cannot get things done. But, spring is here and it is time to notice it.

You need to go out into your yard or porch and listen to the birds sing. Look at the buds on the trees. Look for the new flowers that made it through another winter.

It is all there and all you need to do is look at it.

You, also made it through winter. That is saying something. You are important!!

You are important to people you don’t even know. Sounds weird, but it’s true. If someone happened to hear you say something that is important to them, you will never know that they even heard you, but they did and it was just what they needed.

You might just hear a person say something that rings true to you. Notice if someone smiles at you or if they say thank you, when you hold a door for them.

The thing with depression or just a sad time, is to get out of your own head. Think around the dark areas that are so hard to get through and look around. Feel the sun on your skin. Watch a bee and be glad that you are not a bee!

Be glad that you are not a bee. They work way too hard.
Busy bees.

Be glad that you are not a fly or a snake or, Heaven forbid, a DUNG beetle!!

Just sit outside and soon something will catch your attention. Ever watch a jet and wonder where all of those people are going. Marvel at the fact of how many people, just like you, that are on that airplane.

It is an amazing world and it is not all full of depression or sad thoughts.

Try it and tell me what you think.

No one is watching… ENJOY the simple things…
