We need to Stop Soldier Suicide

The Soldiers that died, died for all of us. That includes you!

Do you think all of the Soldiers that died are going to be happy to know that you did not live out the rest of your life? I think they would be disappointed that you just ended things. You still have a job to do.

Yes, I know that you saw things that no one should have to see. So did the other soldiers. You can get past this if you try. God would not have given you such a hard way to go just so you could give up.

I know life is hard and suicide is even harder. But, if you just give some ideas a try before you commit suicide, you just might find a way to get over Soldier Suicide.

I care for your life. You try caring for it, too. Don’t let the things in your past ruin your future.

“I’ll keep for you a secret smile.

A wish for love and laughter.

That anywhere you chance to roam,

The sun will follow after!”

I wrote this way back in the 1990’s. Do you think I may later have a mission?

This bird can not fly. He did not give up. He found a way to survive. You can too. He lives in Australia and walks all over the forest floor. He also is a destructive little guy, but his kind has lived a very long time. He is called a Kakapo and people don’t like him much because he is so destructive. You don’t even have to be destructive, just survive!

Stop Soldier Suicide

Start with you, then help someone else and someone else and so on. Everyone on this planet has a mission. Don’t give up on yours. You can learn to put the past in it’s place and move on to better things.

What if the cliche is true and you are suppose to have a child that changes this world for the better? If you don’t finish this mission things could go very bad for this planet.

You might miss the chance to end wars that kill and hurt so many. You could be the one that saves the person that knows how to do it. Suicide is not for you. It is for weak individuals that what to just end all the pain and forget everything else. That is NOT you!

Just do not give up on yourself, your family and your friends. I am sure that they will be willing to help you.

I know it is hard to do. If you can’t ask someone for help, write a note and hand it to them. I have used this one myself a few times. Sometimes we just cannot get the words out so write them. Even, I need help now to get the ball going. It does work, I know. My life was not as ugly as yours but it is bad to me. I made it to almost 72 and not done yet. I have thought of giving up many times I have lost count, if I ever counted.. Go me!

NEVER GIVE UP! You disappoint yourself and so many people. But, the worst one you hurt is you.

Take the time to think. There is no “do over” in suicide. It is a permanent solution to a fixable problem. Think and take deep breaths. Don’t disappoint yourself or me!

Stop Soldier Suicide….you went though too much to give up now. The worst is over. Hard to believe isn’t it? But, it is true.
