Take your phone with you and go outside. Most people have smart phones now. It’s time to use them.
Take a few snapshots of whatever you like or just see. Try closer up or further away.

Look at your photos and see what you think about them.
They don’t need to be fancy or cute or even make any sense to anyone.

Do you like them? Try a few more. They are just for you to look around at where you are. If you like them, try a few more. Sometimes you will be surprised at what you see in a simple picture.
Now think about this. Hopefully you got dressed. You are outside and feel the air and feel the sunshine. If it’s raining, you are getting wet! So what. This is for you and by you.

Sometimes what you see is amazing. Sometimes not so much. You can delete those or not.
This whole exercise is to get you out of the house and trying something new. Don’t overthink it. Just put your depression behind you for now and snap a few pictures.

Maybe the weather is not so good right now. Try it again tomorrow or the next day. Just think, you may have found something you like.
To deal with depression, you have to think around it and not let it take over the way you think. It’s hard, I know. Just try it. If you get even one picture that you can like, YAY YOU!! You have set the enemy out of the way and it feels good.

Dance in the rain and again I hope you are dressed.
