Did you know this?

Fall is here like it or not. Did you realize that even with other kinds of depression you can get SAD? Seasonal Affective Disorder. I have Chronic Depression and SAD. Yes, fall and winter can be very hard for me. I do have ways to fight it.
Tis the Season so get ready. If we get lucky and have a lot of sunshine in the fall and winter, it’s pretty good. But, those fall and winter times when it is cloudy and gloomy for days on end can be bad. I try to do crafts a lot and I do go to a weekly Craft class that is fun to talk to all my friends and gets me out of the house. When I’m home I do my crafts with a Light Therapy Lamp. It is very bright, which is good for crafts, is it helpful with depression, I think it is to an extent. But, at that point I’m willing to try the thing. SAD is also another reason to get outside, especially if the sun is shining.
My nephew got me a pair of yellow work glasses. On gloomy days you can wear the glasses even indoors. They turn things a very bright yellowish color. It is a bit of a shock to take them off and realize it is still very gray and gloomy outside. I think they help. Your
local hardware should have them.
