If you are depressed, try this:

If you do not have an account on Pinterest, you should. It’s free. It is like Google in pictures. You name Boards and put all of your favorite pictures, ideas, recipes, whatever you like on them. I have been on Pinterest a long time and have thousands of pictures and ideas. I like my boards to be eclectic, not all alike. You can see my Pinterest boards by going to one of my blog articles and clicking on Pinterest at the bottom of the page. Pinterest is a little like looking thru a magazine with a whole lot of pictures. Even with depression it makes me smile.

Scribbling while screaming is optional.
To learn to live with your depression try going to YouTube and learn something that interests you. I like to look up taking care of orchids, crochet stitches I’ve forgotten how to do. And lately how to blog. Woodworking would be a good thing to learn on YouTube.
If you would like something less mindful, try Adult Coloring Pages. There are tons of free pages to download off the internet. I have some books handy.
Another good idea to constructively help you to learn to live with depression is doing Diamond Painting. This is a win-win, because, not only does it give you something that is quiet and constructive but you can give it away as a present. Win-win. Diamond Painting is a printed canvas with a picture on it with little numbers all over it. Each number tells you which colored DOT to put on it. The canvas is covered with glue and your dot sticks right on it. When it’s done the whole picture is sparkly and bright. Get it framed and POOF you have made art! Good for your walls or someone else’s.
Wood or leather crafts can get the same results. You make a great looking product for yourself or a gift.
If you happen to have that old car sitting there waiting for you to work on it, now is the time. If nothing else rinse the dust off of it. It just might get you motivated. Imagine it beautiful and shiny.
One other thing that could help you learn is reading other people’s blogs about depression. While I find a lot of them depress me more, a good one to read is damnitshard.com. I am sure there are a lot out there that could help you.
NEVER GIVE UP!!! Life is a learning experience. Nothing is too small to learn.
