We have turned into cows.
Rumination:
The Name for the loop in your brain that plays over and over and over…
Tell your brain to “STOP”. Say it out loud!!
Try to stay in reality. What your thoughts tell you are not really true.
The best thing you can do to help yourself is to retrain your brain to get into reality. It seems very real at the time, it seems like reality, but it is not.
That is the reason they call it a mental disorder. The bad chemicals have taken over.
Tell your brain loop to “STOP”!
Say “STOP”, then replace the bad loop with realness.
Pick up a book and start reading. This is usually what I do. I only read “happy” books. Romance books are sometimes boring, but can have a lot of humor in them.
Fantasy books can be really funny and catch your attention.
When I look for books I always go to fiction then humorous.
If you are a guy, try sports books or woodworking. Anything that can catch your attention. It really is not as hard as you think it is.

If reading is not your thing tell your brain loop to “STOP” then go for a walk or a run. Focus on the wind, the sun, the deep green of the trees and grass. Listen to the birds. We tend to forget how nice it is to hear birds sing!
Whatever your distraction is keep it going. Do not let the loop start up for a while.
Nothing will ever change.
If you are stuck at nothing will ever change, that is the biggest lie of all. Change is the only constant thing in life. It will always change.
Give yourself time to realize the changes. The world goes on whether you are involved or not.

The seasons change. Babies get older and smarter. Trends come and go. Keep the best ones.
No one is beyond keeping in touch with these days. Friends and family live all over the world these days. Once in a while a simple text of “how are you doing?” is all it takes. No talking if you don’t want too.
I can’t tell you enough to get out of your thought process.
Do NOT watch the news!
Limit time you spend on social media.
Get involved in something that you like.
Use your brain to keep you going forward. Practice. The past is not worth staying in. It’s over! If people keep digging up the past for you ask or tell them to STOP.
You are in charge!
Talk to me or someone you know. There is no shame in your game.
Sometimes my brain tells me that no one will remember me when I’m dead. I say so what! I will be dead and I won’t know if anyone remembers me!! Be in the here and now!!!
The past is gone. Move on…Even taking baby steps!
Take a look at my Market Pages. That is where the ads are. I did not want ads to pop up on this serious topic.
