The people want to know….How do I get through my days?

I have a ton of hobbies. Way too many for any sane person! Stella is my 5 year old Jack Russell Terrier. She is quiet when I am and busy outside.
Some days if I don’t feel like crocheting I might be able to make crafts or jewelry. I love to read what I call Happy books. Books that I know are interesting without a lot of sad crap in them. This past winter I was a “chain reader”. I closed the end of one book and started another one right then. Now, not so much.
I just wait until I feel like it again and I will start reading like crazy.
Some days I can only sit in front of the TV. Which is really weird for me, because, I am not a TV person. NCIS is about all I like to watch once a week. Magnolia Network can be on if I want to sit and read or just watch nice TV.
I don’t even get my projects done. (Ask my friends!) But, that’s OK. I just might finish it some other time. That is all a part of depression.
I even write that way. A little at a time! I write and Craft a little then write a little and on it goes.
Nature walks are great too. Take your phone or a camera, because you will always find something you would like a picture of.
I also think that living with depression my whole life makes it a little easier. Maybe not. Who knows it could hit me upside the head with a baseball bat tomorrow. I will get thru it and so will you!
Baby steps. Maybe even learn to crawl. You are worth it!!!
Pull out of a dark day or week however you can and don’t let anyone else tell you how to do it. Doing it your way is a learning process.
You can even tell me I’m full of crap!! I can take it. But, watch your language. I have a bad heart!! Ha!
Hey, even Snoop Dogg took up crochet to help him work thru some things!
If you need a new hobby, you can learn anything on UTube.
If you would like to read some other blogs on depression, go for it. Try damnitshard.com I think you will like this one.
