The only duck you have to worry about is yours.
Depressed people worry about all the ducks. Push them all aside and only think about you right now.

Is your duck up and swimming or hiding in bed?
I know that is what you want to do, but the sooner you are up and swimming the sooner this bout of sadness will ease up.
Do something even if it only takes a few minutes.
Brush your teeth or maybe make your bed.
You will be surprised at how good you will feel just doing that.

Hiding under your covers only makes you feel more like a failure. You are not a failure! You are going through a dark tunnel and the more light you see at the other end is a blessing.
I do know how hard it is to do. I have gone through a whole lot of tunnels and have come out the other side!
You really can appreciate the world around you when you can see light again.
You are not alone!!! Let your duck swim!!
